Lieutenant Anne Martin
Anne Martin is the Administrative Lieutenant in the Detention Divison. She has been involved in Public Safety for over 20 years with Dawson, Forsyth and Lumpkin Counties. Martin became a member of the Sheriff's Office in October 1988 as a dispatcher. Martin was the first female Detention Officer at Dawson County and later assigned as Captain over Detention. Lt. Martin also worked with Forsyth County Sheriff's Office in 1996 as their Jail Administrator. In 1997, Martin left Forsyth County and went to work with Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office as an Investigator for nine years with the rank of Lieutenant. Martin was Evidence Custodian and D.A.R.E. Instructor while assigned to Investigations at Lumpkin County and taught in the fifth and seventh grades. Lt. Martin returned home to Dawson County in 2006 and was assigned to the Warrants Division, serving civil papers. In June 2009 she was promoted to her current position as Administrative Lieutenant. |
