Danielle Yarbrough
Danielle came to Georgia in 1993, from San Diego California where she
had worked at a downtown San Diego Pre-Release center under a social work
internship program through San Diego State University. She began her
career in law enforcement with the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office, where
she worked for five years as a communications officer/E-911 operator. In
September of 1999, Danielle came to the Dawson County Sheriff's Office as
an E-911 operator in the communications division of the department. In
February of 2000, Danielle moved into the administrative division of the
sheriff's office where she works as the administrative assistant to Major
Kevin Tanner. Her job includes a wide range of duties including the
processing of new hires, keeping the sheriff's office web site current,
processing department invoices for payment, payroll, and keeping the
department expense budgets in check.

- Double major of Social Work and English (with an emphasis on
British Literature before 1800).
