Lieutenant Colonel Greg Rowan

Lieutenant Colonel Greg Rowan began his Public Safety career in 1985. He served as the County's Fire Chief from 1988 until 1993. During that time he was certified as a law enforcement officer with the responsibility of handling arson investigations. In 1993, Rowan was hired full time at the Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy and has since progressed through the rank structure to the position of Lieutenant Colonel. Rowan also serves as the Special Response Team Commander.
