the animal from biting the officer as he catches it. |
Throw Net
8’ diameter throw net used to capture
animals that will not go into a trap.
The net is weighted down with lead weights and works by
tangling up the animal allowing the officer to capture it. |

Snake Tube/ Tongs/ Hook
The snake equipment will allow the
officer to capture any type of snake (venomous & non) and
relocate them so they can be released back in the wild. |

Commonly called a tranquilizer gun,
the sheriff’s office has two different guns.
One gun is a pistol and uses standard CO2 cartridges. The second is a rifle and it is a standard pump type
pellet rifle. Both guns
shoot the same type of darts. Dart sizes range from 1cc to 3cc to 5cc.
