The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office has established a tip line to provide citizens with a method to report any suspicious or criminal activity observed or suspected, information that leads to the discovery of criminal activity in progress, or tips leading to the arrest and conviction of criminals. The Dawson County Sheriff's Office is comprised of approximately one hundred and sixteen employees. Every employee is dedicated to serving each of our citizens and visitors. Our department has worked diligently to offer a wide array of community-based programs. These include the Junior Law Enforcement Academy and the Citizens Police Academy to name a couple. Through these efforts and others we will continue to strive to improve our professionalism and quality of service.
